(From Clark Funeral Home)Bobby Dale Bohannan, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle, and brother, departed from this world on March 15, 2024, at the age of 44.
Born in Joplin, MO, Bobby was the son of Johnny Bohannan and Linda Bohannan. He was known for his passion for fixing anything with a motor, earning him the nickname of a "gearhead." Bobby also found immense joy in playing the guitar and sharing laughter through his jokes.
On July 24, 2009, Bobby embarked on a journey of love and companionship when he married Amberlea Long in Eureka Springs, AR. Bobby leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion through his children: Bayle Golden and spouse Dayton, Breklyn Sidney and spouse Collen, Dylan Bohannan and spouse Sammy Chambers, Brylee Bohannan, Aubrey Woodrum, and Jolene Bohannan. His life was further enriched by the presence of his grandchildren: Dax Golden, Bentley Bohannan, Payzlee Suba, Brynlee Suba, Miah Millikin, Braelyn Price, and Jayson Price. He is survived by his mother, Kay Youngblood, and siblings: Shauna Lewis (spouse Johnnie), Eric Schooler, Becky Lind, Beverly Coquillette, and David Youngblood.
Bobby is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Bohannan, and stepfather, Ray Youngblood.
A graveside service to honor and remember Bobby's life will be held at 10 am on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Greenwood Cemetery North of Granby, MO, with Mark Turner officiating. Prior to the service, a visitation will take place from 5:30-6:30 pm on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Clark Funeral Home in Granby, MO.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Bobby can be made to the family to assist with funeral arrangements. Bobby's presence will be deeply missed, but his laughter, love, and memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
