Frances Amos

Frances Lea Amos, 91, Neosho, died November 28, 2014 at her home.

She was born July 14, 1923, the daughter of Troy and Faye (Brand) Hames. Frances was a lifelong area resident and worked as a bookkeeper for a plumbing and heating business. She was a member of the Jehovah Witness Ozarks Springs Congregation of Neosho. 

Frances married Mark Amos and he preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Pam Parkes, Joelton, Tennessee, and Toni Remetch, Neosho; one brother, Curtis Hames, Marion, Iowa; two sisters, Louella Lowery, Rogers, Arkansas, and Nancy Loncarich, Bella Vista, Arkansas; and two grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a brother, Gene Hames.
