Geraldine L. Judd, 90, Granby, died Nov. 20, 2014 at Medicalodge in Neosho, following a sudden illness.
Geraldine was born Jan. 6, 1924 in Rocky Comfort, MO, the daughter of Jesse E. and Mable (Kistler) Young. She was a lifelong area resident and a homemaker. Geraldine was a former member of the Gingham Girls Group and had served as a community board and youth basketball volunteer in years past and was a member of the Church of God.
Geraldine and T.E. ‘Bus’ Judd were married on July 27, 1940 and he preceded her in death on Nov. 11, 2007. She is survived by two children, Butch Judd, Granby and Sue McGrane, Independence, MO; her adopted daughter, Marie Judd, Diamond; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Lonnie Judd and three brothers, Carl, Joe and Jay Young.
