Geraldine Chrisman, 97 passed away April 2, 2014 at Mercy McCune Hospital, Carthage. Geraldine was born September 1, 1916 in Bowers Mill, MO. She was the last living daughter of the pioneer family of A. Waymyer and Katherine Mae “Meadows” Chrisman. She lived in Abilene, Texas and moved back to Carthage in 1980. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist church of Carthage and a member of the Morgan Heights pep club. She worked for the Abilene Bible Missionary School and was the editor of the school paper there for many years.
Geraldine is survived by one Cousin Charles Chrisman and wife Neva and family, several nieces.
Geraldine is preceded in death by one son Robert Jerald Groseclose February 19, 1992.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 5, 2014 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Harvey Cemetery in LaRussell. Online condolences may be made atwww.ulmerfh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home.
