Lylelen Hope Martin age 44 of Joplin passed away on Monday April 14, 2014 from a sudden illness.
She was born on July 30, 1969 in Kingman, Arizona to Lyle Martin and Beverly Horner Martin. Lylelen was a homemaker. She loved life and lived it her way. She had the biggest heart and loved everyone. If someone was in need she would try to help in any way she could. Lylelen was a hard worker; she put her whole heart into everything she did. She had her own style and knew how to cheer you up. Lylelen loved her family more than anything and did everything she could to keep her family happy. Love was the biggest and greatest gift she had.
She is survived by her boyfriend, Gerald Freeman of Joplin; sisters, Tabatha Chaney and husband Dan of Noel, Valmy Moffet of Joplin; brothers, Robert Martin of Baxter Springs, Jerry Horner of Noel; daughters, Mallory Olson and husband Charles of Joplin, April Rogers of Carthage, Nikki Indicott of Webb City; son, Ricky Hutchison of Amherst, Virginia; granddaughters, Ava Edwards, Emily Olson, Aubrey-Skye King; and one grandson, Mason Olson. Lylelen was preceded in death by a sister, Cristal Martin and her mother, Beverly Baldwin.
She has been taken for cremation and the family will have a memorial service on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 4:00 PM in Schermerhorn Park in Galena, Kansas.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City.
