Steve Corwin

Steven Mark Corwin, age 38, ‘Uncle Stevo’, Joplin, passed away at 5:20 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2014 at Mercy Hospital after heart failure.

Steven was born August 7, 1975 in Joplin to Lena Cornell Corwin and the late Vincel Corwin. He was a lifelong Joplin resident.

Steven worked doing different things. For the past couple of years, he was busy with a lawn business. He was a favorite uncle to several nieces and nephews and he will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his mother, Lena Corwin, Joplin; a daughter, Allison Jones-Corwin, Webb City; two sisters, Teresa Arnold and Carla DeStefano, both of Joplin; brother, Randy Corwin, Joplin; eight nieces and nephews; ten great nieces and nephews; and a father figure to Ashley Jones, Webb City.

In addition to his father, Steven was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Ray Corwin.

Graveside services are planned for Friday at 3:00 p.m. at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Jack Daniels will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-7:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel.
