Sharon Kay Goins Howell, age 71, of Joplin, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2014 at Freeman Hospital, Joplin, MO.
Sharon was born July 07, 1942 to the late Doyle E. Goins and Willa Dean Dick in Joplin, MO. She was a homemaker and also worked for LaBarge Manufacturing for a period of time. She was also a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include three sons, Johnie Hodges and wife Glenda of Joplin, Garry Thompson and wife Cheryl of Joplin, Bryan Thompson of Carl Junction; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and her dog, Penney.
Graveside service is planned for Monday, April 21, 2014 at 11:00 at Forest Park Cemetery, Joplin, MO. A family visitation will be held at Parker Mortuary from 10:00 AM until leaving for the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Joplin Human Society in care of the mortuary.
Services are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
