Micah (Bubby) James Benjamin Frerer, a student at Spokane High School, passed away on July 26, 2017 at the age of 18.
He was born December 29, 1998 in Joplin, Missouri. Micah had resided in Highlandville, Missouri the past three years and the first 15 years in Oklahoma. Micah’s heart was made of gold and his smile would light up any room. He loved life and the smallest things excited him. He was proud of the simplest accomplishments. He knew no stranger and everyone in his path was his friend. He loved his family and never failed to say “I love you” to them. Micah enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and traveling. He was an avid BMX Racer, but most of all his pride and joy was his 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer.
Micah is survived by his mother, Ronda Cheek and fiancé, Tim Clark of Highlandville, MO; father, Michael Frerer and wife, Judy of Florida; three brothers, Logan Fullerton and wife, Felicia of Muskogee, OK, Cody Lasiter and wife, Cheyenne of Carthage, MO and Joshua Lasiter of Highlandville, MO; two sisters, Mikki Rickey and husband, Freddie and Melanie Miller; three nieces; five nephews; grandmother, Sue Slaughter of Joplin, MO; grandfather, Franklin Ray Reynolds of Rutledge, GA and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Micah is preceded in death by his grandfather, Ralph Slaughter and grandparents, Jack and Myrtle Frerer.
Services will be held Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home in Neosho. Interment will follow in the Stone Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a time of visitation on Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
