Dwight H. "PeeWee" Bradshaw, age 76, Joplin, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Spring River Christian Village.
Dwight was born March 21, 1941 in Thompsonville, Illinois, son of the late Hurma Bradshaw and Thelma Eaker Bradshaw. He worked for over 40 years as a meat cutter for Safeway, Consumers, and Wal-Mart, retiring in 2003 from Wal-Mart.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Carol Wissman Bradshaw who passed away on September 22, 2008, and a brother, J.D. Bradshaw.
Survivors include his children, Vicky Copeland and husband Ken of Joplin, Kevin Bradshaw and wife Carrie of Plant City, Florida, and Christiana Walsh and husband Eddie of Girard, Kansas; grandchildren, Tami Marlay and husband Jay, Michelle Allgood and husband Larry, Whitney Warren and Tucker Hagedorn, , Kendal Wolf and husband Austin, Alexandria Dee and husband Christopher, Avery Bradshaw, Trinity Bradshaw, and Lillian Bradshaw; great-grandchildren, Audrey Marlay, Lindsey Marlay, and Carson Wolf; sisters, Shirley Wissman, Donna Seabaugh, Brenda Pemberton all of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Peggy Charles of Memphis, Tennessee; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside services will be Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Danny Mullins officiating and family serving as pallbearers.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Compassus care of Parker Mortuary.
