Jane Ann Yost was born July 24, 1931 in Kent, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Marie (Conaway) Bonk. She entered into rest on July 20, 2017 in Joplin at the age of 85, following an extended illness.
Jane moved to the area in December, 1970 from Ohio and was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing Yahtzee, doing puzzles, flowers, watching Nascar races and being with family.
Jane married Donald Yost on June 11, 1955 in Kent, Ohio and he preceded her in death on Oct. 9, 1975. Jane is survived by her eleven children, Jeff A. Yost (Tammy) of Neosho; Jock Yost (Pam) of Okene, OK; Debbie Lewis (Mike) of Neosho; Joel Yost of Stark City; Diana Oyerly (Van) of Stark City; Denise Williams (Delbert) of Granby; Darlene Thompson (Frank) of Granby; Donna Linton of Neosho; Joey Yost (Rhonda) of Neosho; Doreen Clouse (Mike) of Granby and Doris Bannister (Paul) of Stark City; 28 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Bower and brother, Bob Bonk.
Services will be Monday, July 24, 2017 at 10 am at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel, Granby, Father Justin Monaghan and Pastor Doug Gripka will officiate. Interment will follow in the Newtonia IOOF Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Jason Yost, Dustin Oyerly, Braydan Clouse, Carl Linton, Dylan Thompson, Derrick Clouse, Preston Yost and Levi Yost. The family will receive friends Sunday at the Clark Funeral Home, Granby, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm.
