Jimmie ‘Jim’ Ahart, 81, Neosho, died July 21, 2017 at his home.
He was born February 14, 1936 in Versailles, Missouri, the son of James and Billie (Campbell) Ahart. Jim moved to Neosho in December, 2000. He served in the U.S. Air Force and had been employed as a welder for R and W Manufacturing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing musical instruments. He was a loving father and grandpa who loved to spend time with his family.
Jim is survived by four children, Jimmie Don Ahart of Neosho, Teresa Niswonger and husband, Johnny of Neosho, Tammy Kimbrough and husband, James of Diamond and Carol House of Neosho; one brother, Johnnie Ahart of Kansas City, MO; two sisters, Nancy Bean of Kansas City, MO and Kay Eckingker of Denver, CO; seventeen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Jim is preceded in death by his parents; son, Gary Milton Ahart and five siblings.
A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bible Holiness Assembly of God in Neosho.
