Paula Marie Gehlken, age 60, Joplin, passed away at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at her home.
Paula was born January 1, 1957 in Unionville, Missouri to the late Thomas Tinsley and Ida M. Harrington Tinsley and had lived in the area most of her life.
She worked in the environmental services department at Joplin Health and Rehabilitation Center for several years.
Paula married Larry Gehlken on November 13, 1981 in Ames, Iowa. He survives at the home.
Additional survivors include her son, Robert Gehlken, Joplin; stepdaughter, Ananatte Barker and husband, Darrin, Bonner Springs, Kansas; granddaughter, Amanda Gehlken, Nevada, Iowa; grandson, Zachary Heath, Omaha; one sister, Carolyn Brock, Topeka; and several cousins.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
