Beulah Summey-Anderson-Rumetsch, age 79, Granby, entered into rest on July 20, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, following an extended illness.
Beulah was born April 2, 1938 in Granby, the daughter of Nelson and Nellie (Hilker) Summey. She was a lifelong area resident and had worked at Talbot Wire and Buddy L. She loved her pets and enjoyed Chinese food and turkey burgers. Beulah was of the Catholic faith.
Beulah is survived by a daughter, Shirley Morris of Granby; two stepsons, Charles Rumetsch and Mark Rumetsch of Joplin; two sisters, Stella Weeden of Joplin and Dorothy Vickers of Miami, OK; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, three nieces and six great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Connie Vance Heffren, granddaughter, Ayla Vance and her partner in life, Don Cousins.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 2 pm at the Granby Memorial Cemetery, Rev. Ralph Walker will officiate. The family will receive friends at a time of visitation Monday evening at the Clark Funeral Home, Granby from 6 to 7 pm.
