Robert W. “Bob” Kaulbach, age 84 of Carthage, Missouri passed away Saturday July 1, 2017 at his home following a rapid decline in health battling cancer.
He was born February 28, 1933 to Harold and Edith (Oickle) Kaulbach.
Bob served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He received a Masters of Education from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and served as an educator and psychologist. He was an apartment manager where he met his wife, Jean. He ran a cookie jar business for a short time with Jean, “Jean’s House of Cookie Jars”. He was an active DAV member and former DAV commander.
He married Jean on July 31, 1987 and she survives. He is also survived by one sister, Carol Cline, step-grandchildren and many step-greatgrandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Ed Kaulbach, and a step-daughter.
Friends and family are welcomed to visit Jean at her home at their convenience, no formal services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the DAV in his memory.
