Ruby Adiline Welch, age 101, Neosho, passed away at 8:40 p.m. Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Communities of Wildwood Ranch.
Ruby was born December 8, 1915 in the Spring City Community, South of Joplin, on the homestead of her parents, the late George Washington Wilson and Daisy Hester Moser Wilson.
She worked for over 20 years at the former St. John's Regional Medical Center in the dietary department, retiring in the mid 1980's. She enjoyed traveling and visited all 50 states. Ruby loved her family and will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Rollie; two sons, Charles and Claude Welch; and several siblings.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Frisinger, Neosho, Sharon Haynes, Idaho; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren.
Services are planned for Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Cynthia Royce will officiate. Interment will follow in Osborne Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca Methodist Church, in care of Parker Mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
