Dwayne Hall Fisher, age 67 of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at his home, surrounded by his family, following a long illness.
Dwayne was born April 30, 1950 in Versailles, Missouri to the late Worley Fisher and Marjorie Jobe Fisher. He graduated high school from Versailles and went into the Air Force. After his time in the service, Dwayne went to Drury College in Springfield and then went to work for the Springfield Police Department. The last several years, Dwayne was a Truck Driver.
On April 24, 1983, he married Susan L. Smith in Springfield, Missouri. She survives of the home in Joplin.
Additional survivors include daughters, Mindy Fisher of Kansas City, Missouri, Lyndsey Jarvis and husband, Ryan of Spring Hill, Kansas; son, Bradly Fisher of Joplin; grandsons, Dalton and Colton Cash and Jack and James Jarvis; sister, Vickie Crowley of New Franklin, Missouri.
Other than his parents, Dwayne was preceded in death by a sister, Dena Cook.
A Memorial Visitation is planned for Saturday, October 21 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Ronald McDonald House, in care of the mortuary.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
