William James “Willie” Page, 67, of Seneca, Missouri, passed away Thursday evening, April 9, 2020, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin.
Willie was born March 14, 1953, in Joplin, Missouri, to Visie and Rachel Mingo. He graduated from Manuel High School in Denver, Colorado. Willie spent many years living in Colorado before relocating back to Joplin and he worked various jobs throughout his life. Willie loved to play Bingo and Dominoes and he also enjoyed testing his luck at the lottery.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dan and Rachel Mingo; his parents, Visie Usery and Rachel Mingo; and his brother, Freddie.
Survivors include four siblings, Maxine Amos of Kansas City, Missouri, Daniel Page of Sacramento, California, Marsha Mingo of Kansas City, Missouri, and Jimmy Page and wife, Harriett, of Joplin, Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews; several cousins; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Private funeral services will be held on Wednesday in the chapel of Parker Mortuary with Pastor Larry Williams officiating. A graveside committal will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Parkway Cemetery in Joplin. Viewing will take place on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday during normal working hours at Parker Mortuary.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
