(From Parker Mortuary)It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our precious and beloved daughter, Eden Everly Baker. Eden, born July 31, 2017, of Webb City, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 8, 2020.
Eden, lovingly known to family as “Baby doll”, and the light of our lives, brought us boundless joy. Her laughter was infectious. She was filled with bustling energy, spirited determination, and endless love.
Eden loved Jesus and her family. She loved making popcorn, cake and hot dogs with her mom. She also loved playing doctor and eating Taco Gringos with her dad.
Eden’s hobbies included playing, singing, dancing and reading. Her favorite games were Ring-Around-the-Rosie, Hide-and-Seek, and bear hunt.
Eden enjoyed Blippi, cats, Starbucks, Books-A-Million, Trolls movies, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, the Sound of Music, and her pink car. She also enjoyed attending Miracles Daycare and visiting the Joplin Public Library.
She is survived by her parents, Ryan and Sarah Baker; grandparents, Larry and Cheryl Baker, and June Leiby; aunts and uncles, Chris and Michelle Thomson, Trent and Bonnie Baich, Billy and Kristin Durham, Brian Leiby, and Bob Durham; her cousins, Michaela Thomson, Carter Thomson, and Madeline Thomson; and extended family and friends.
Eden’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park Baptist Church in Joplin, Missouri. Pastor John Swadley will officiate. A graveside service will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Webb City, Missouri. Eden was our bright little angel and will forever be in our hearts.
