(From Benton County Funeral Home)Clarence L. (Buzz) Cunningham, 92 years old of Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away Saturday March 4, 2023, in Innisfree, Rogers, Arkansas. He was born Sept. 17, 1930 in Burgettstown , Pa. , a son of Norman and Laura Cunningham. On June 4, 1950, he married Donna Arthur Cunningham. They spent 72 loving years together.
Buzz spent 24 years in United States Air Force before retiring in Bentonville in 1971. After retiring worked for Anchor Construction in Fayetteville, Ark. Buzz was a Mason and a Shriner for over 50 years. He held various officer positions and was especially proud of work as a Clown with the Shriner organization. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Bentonville for 37 years.
In addition to his parents, Buzz was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
He is survived by his wife Donna Arthur Cunningham, his son Jim Cunningham and wife Wilma of Bentonville, and daughter Tammy Thompson and her husband Bill of Noel, Mo. two grandchildren Jeremy Cunningham of Bella Vista and Whitney Soard and husband Tom of Avoca. Four great grandchildren, one brother Raymond Cunningham of Burgettstown , Pa and his care giver Royce Benbrook of Bentonville, Ark.
Visitation 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2023, with services beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th Street, Rogers.
