(From Stumpff Funeral Home)John David Jason, Kimberling City, MO, son of Helen Jacobs, was born September 25, 1954, in Denver, CO, and departed this life on February 27, 2023, at the age of 68.
John had been a resident of the area for twenty-four years, moving here from Galena, KS. He was the manager of a propane company. He was a member of Keystone Baptist Church Reeds Spring, MO.
John was preceded in death by his mother and Uncle Harold Jacobs.
Survivors include: his wife, Linda Jason of Kimberling City, MO; son, Brandon Jason of Nixa, MO; two step-sons, David Amos and Michael Amos both of Kimberling City, MO; Aunt, Marilyn Jacobs of Joplin, MO; five cousins, Matthew Jacobs of Breckenridge, CO, Michael Jacobs of Joplin, MO, Pam Peters of Texas, Brenda Lewis of Texas and Becky Underwood of CO and a host of other family and friends.
Services for John will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael O’Sullivan officiating at Stumpff Funeral Chapel Kimberling City, MO.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the Heart Association, Multiple Sclerosis Society or Charity of Choice.
