(From Parker Mortuary)Jane Moult, age 95 of Joplin, passed peacefully to her heavenly home on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at St. Luke’s Nursing Home in Carthage, Missouri, surrounded by her loving children.
Jane was born February 16, 1928 in Republic, Missouri to Dorsey Wiles and Lella Scott Wiles. She was a lifetime Joplin resident.
Jane graduated from Joplin High School in 1946 and attended the University of Tulsa, where she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gama Sorority. While attending school, Jane played the cello and was in the school drum corp.
She worked as a bookkeeper at Humble Sand and retired from Brown Drug.
Jane was a member of the First Community Church, where she was a member of Ladies Section III. She also was a member of The Woman’s Club of Joplin and served on the Executive Board and previously held the position of Treasurer.
Jane was an avid bridge player and greatly enjoyed the Bridge Clubs in which she played.
Those surviving Jane include her daughter Janet Emmert of Joplin, her two sons, Grant Moult (Cathy) of Brentwood, Tennessee, Dr Gene Moult (Karen) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren Gina Trimble (Allen), Justin Emmert (Amelia), Adam, Ryan and Taylor Moult; 5 great-granddaughters, Jenna, Jessica, Rose, Adelene and Adelaide.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Scott Wiles and son-in-law Matt Emmert.
Funeral services are planned for Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary with burial taking place immediately following the service at I.O.O.F Cemetery in Marionville, Missouri. Family will receive friends on Friday, August 4th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the chapel at Parker.
Memorial Contributions may be made to First Community Church, Joplin, Missouri.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
