(From Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home)Alonda Sue Cantrell, age 61, of Marionville, Missouri, passed away at 12:39 p.m. on Monday, August 21, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. She was born January 2, 1962, in Lamar, Missouri, the daughter of Bryson and Darlene (Wilson) Logan.
Alonda was a 1980 graduate of Miller High School, in Miller, Missouri. Alonda retired after working 29 years for AG Forte in Aurora, Missouri. After retiring Alonda has enjoyed working for her nephew and niece at BloomDoom Guitar Co. in Miller, Missouri.
On June 16, 1984, she married Mitch Cantrell, in Aurora, Missouri.
Alonda is survived by her husband of 39 years, Mitch; her mother, Darlene Logan, of Miller; one daughter, Jodi Cantrell of Joplin, Missouri; two sons, Kevin Cantrell of Marionville, Missouri and Jared (Sara) Cantrell of Nixa, Missouri; one granddaughter, Cloe and one on the way; five siblings, Janet Garner of Miller, Missouri, Diane (Kent) Wilson of Neosho, Missouri, Anita (Allen) Bloomer, Steve (Kandace) Logan and Teri (David) Gillaspy, all of Miller, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.
Alonda was preceded in death by her father, Bryson Logan.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Burial will follow at the Summit Cemetery northeast of Mt. Vernon.
