(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Wayne Edward Dalton, age 76, of Asbury, Mo, passed away on August 15, 2023 at KU Medical Center in Ks.
Wayne was born October 14, 1946 to the late union of Leslie and Anna Mae (Greenlee) Dalton. He retired after 30 plus years at Yellow Freight Trucking Company. He was a proud Teamster Union Member and retiree. He loved fishing, hunting, nascar and bowling. He participated several years in the National Bowling Tournaments. For the last 10 years he enjoyed working at the Glades Farm and their friendship.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Darrell Dalton.
Wayne is survived by two children, Christophor Dalton and his wife Charli, Melissa Dalton Johnson and husband Jeff Johnson. Sister Barbara Miller and brother Melvin Dalton. Grandchildren Mica Dalton, Chrystal Dalton and Christian Dalton, great granddaughter Claire Green and his best friend Remi.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Mason-Woodard Chapel with Chad Isaacs, officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Park Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
