(From Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home)Bettina Laurel DeBerry, 41, of Webb City, Missouri, departed this life on Monday afternoon, August 21, 2023, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri.
Bettina entered this life on February 14, 1982, in Joplin, Missouri, daughter of Teddy and Felicia Kay (Jordan) Harre. She was a lifelong area resident and a 2000 graduate of Webb City High School. She was employed by MSSU in Joplin as a custodian and chef for a few years. She had a beautiful singing voice and played in the band while in high school.
He mother, Felicia Kay Johnson, preceded her in death.
Bettina is survived by her two children, Cydney DeBerry of Carthage and Jordan DeBerry of Joplin; a grandson, Owen Korn; her father, Teddy Harre of the state of Virginia; her stepfather, Mike Johnson of Webb City; maternal grandparents, Jacqualyn Jordan of Webb City and Robert Jordan of Carthage; paternal grandmother, Mary Harre of Webb City; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Visitation for Bettina will be held on Friday evening, August 25, 2023 from 5-7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home in Webb City. Private burial will take place at a later date at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home in Webb City, Missouri.
