(From Ozark Memorial Park Crematory)Larry Leon Eden , age 75, died unexpectedly the early hours of August 23, 2023.
He was born to Doyle and Opal Eden in Joplin, MO April 27 th 1948. Shortly after, two sisters, Betty Campbell and Dolly Eden were born, and the three remained inseparable until his death. Many believe it required both Betty and Dolly to keep him in line.
Larry started at Missouri Steel Castings when he was 17, retiring after 38 years as plant Superintendent. Later he owned Larry’s Last Chance Saloon, rental properties, and always enjoyed a side hustle of buying and selling.
He had 3 children by his first marriage, Larry W. Eden (Valerie), Chris Eden (Kerri) and Shannon Eden, 7 Grandchildren; Laurel Landoll (Drew) Tyler Eden (Laurissa), Brittany Eden, Garrett Harper, Tiffanie Roberts, Kirsten Eckheart(Alec), Kelsi Eden (Hannah), 7 great grandchildren. He just missed the birth of his 8th. I am sure he is proudly looking down.
In 1992 he married Vicki Newman and together they watched the joy of their lives grow into a nice 11
year old boy. Carson, of the home, was Larry’s pride and joy. Named PA by Carson, he loved family, cattle, chickens, and their weekly outings. He and Vicki had two granddaughters, Autumn Terry, Ashely Caughorn (Jonah) and 7 great grandkids Larry loved his many nieces and nephews dearly.
