(From Greenfield Funeral Chapel)Debra Ann “Debbie” Vaughn, of Greenfield, MO, departed this life on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO at the age of 62.
She was born on December 5, 1960 in Lamar, MO to Jack and Cleta (Vaught) Butler. Debbie graduated from Lamar High School in 1979.
She was united in marriage to Jeffrey Lanson “Jeff” Vaughn on June 8, 1979 at the First Christian Church of Lamar. Debbie worked as an C.N.A. and was an excellent caregiver for all those she cared for. She loved her family, and her beloved dogs. Debbie will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Jack and Cleta Butler. Survivors include her husband, Jeff Vaughn of Greenfield, MO; two sons, Michael Vaughn and wife Aimee of Greenfield, MO and Matthew Vaughn and wife Lauren of Springfield, MO; one brother, John Butler and wife Theresa of Pella, IA; one sister, Linda White of Bentonville, AR; six grandchildren, Isaac Vaughn, Xander Vaughn, Spencer Vaughn, Taylor Vaughn, Daily Vaughn, and Raygan Vaughn; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2023, at Corry Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. Please make checks payable to Jeff Vaughn. Services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
