(From Ozark Funeral Home)Mr. Robert “Bob” Throneberry, 89, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, August 19, 2023, while at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Bob entered this life on December 22, 1933, in Haskell, Texas, son of the late Roy and Ruthell (Hensley) Throneberry. He was raised in Haskell and was a 1951 graduate of Haskell High School.
Following graduation, he enlisted and served his country faithfully in the United States Air Force. While stationed in Greenville, South Carolina, he met and married Elsie Duvall and two this union two children were born, Kenny and Margaret. They resided in Long Beach, California and Las Cruces, New Mexico before moving to Neosho, Missouri in 1974.
For twenty years, Bob was employed at La-Z-Boy in Neosho, retiring in 1993 as maintenance supervisor. Following retirement, He and Elsie moved to Grove, Oklahoma, to enjoy life on the lake. Elsie passed away in 1996 and on October 24, 1998, he married Vivian “Blondie” Stone and moved to Anderson, Missouri. He loved antique cars, woodworking projects and was a talented carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Elsie Throneberry and Blondie Throneberry; a stepson, Dan Stone; and a brother, Glenn Throneberry.

Bob is survived by his two children, Kenny Throneberry of Chama, New Mexico and Margaret Pacheco and husband, Joe, of Anderson; three stepchildren, Denny Stone and wife, Janice, of Anderson, Kitty Kitterman and husband, Bob, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas and Todd Stone and wife, Tanya, of Joplin; stepdaughter-in-law, Gloria Stone of Anderson; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends.
No formal services will be held at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
