(From Greenfield Funeral Chapel)With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, Anna Boyd, at the age of 90, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 21, 1933 in South Greenfield and departed from this world on August 25, 2023.
A loving mother, and cherished grandmother, Anna touched the lives of many with her warmth and wisdom.
Anna was a source of inspiration to her children: Roy, Gloria, Russell, Marie, and Cory. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Anna embraced life's challenges with a smile and an unwavering spirit. Her door was always open, and her heart was always ready to give. She enjoyed her trips on the Oats bus and the friends she made. She was appreciative of her kind neighbors in Greenfield. The Greenfield community served as her family over the years when family was away.
As we bid farewell to our dear mother, we take comfort in knowing that her love and legacy will continue to guide us in our lives. She leaves behind a tapestry of cherished memories that we will hold close to our hearts.
Though she may no longer be with us in person, Anna’s love and spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten. May her memory be a blessing to us all.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Sinking Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
