Charles W. Beasley, 79, Neosho, passed away March 25, 2018 after a long battle with dementia.
He was born Feb. 15, 1939 in Okmulgee, OK. A longtime area resident, Charles was the owner-operator of Beasley Roofing, retiring in 1998.
Charles and Norma Murphy were married in 1961 in Augusta, KS; she survives of the home. Additional survivors include three children: Renee Moore of Neosho, Karen Jester and husband, Jimmy of Tipton, MO, Calvin Beasley and wife, Anita of Neosho; two sisters: Wanda Vaughn of Edmond, MO, and Frankie Adams of Okemah, OK; 11 grandchildren: Brian Treadwell, Phil Treadwell, Andy Beasley, Calli Beasley, Ashley Jones, Nicole Jester, Dakota Vanslyke, Morgan Reyes, Kenzie Moore, Brittany Spencer, and Madison Vanslyke; and 18 great grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Hazel Beasley, one daughter, Jane Michelle Vanslyke, one brother, L.H. Beasley, and one sister, Joyce Smith.
