(From Ozark Funeral Home)
Fredrick (Freddy) Harry Wheeldon, Jr., 63 years, of Stella, Missouri passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at his residence in Stella, Missouri.
Freddy was born on March 8, 1955 in Omaha, Nebraska to the late Fredrick and Edna (Obermeyer) Wheeldon. He enjoyed tinkering with cars, small engines, carpentry and wood working of any kind. Freddy loved his Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Cardinals and he was quite the practical joker. Those who knew him best always enjoyed his sense of humor and the way he could fill the room with joy and laughter. His laughter was contagious and will carry on for generations to come along with all the stories, jokes and the love he freely gave to others. Freddy cherished family gatherings and the time spent with his nieces and nephews. Freddy had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone with no questions ask. He would drop whatever he was doing to help others or just take the time to talk and let them know he cared and loved them. There was only one Freddy and his small piece in this world can never be filled by another. But, the legacy he leaves behind will be cherished in our hearts forever.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carol Jones.
Freddy is survived by his three brothers, Irvin Wheeldon and his wife Mary of Omaha, Nebraska, Steven Wheeldon and his wife Kathy of Omaha, Nebraska, Harlan Wheeldon and his wife Ida of Gravette, Arkansas; three sisters, Vivian Drown of Neosho, Missouri, Shirley Miller and her husband Leonard of Joplin, Missouri, Sheila Cummings and her husband Flint of Grove, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews; along with a host of other family members and friends who will dearly miss Freddy.
