Lola Burnett Robertson, 90, Newtonia, Missouri, entered into rest on March 23, 2018 at Bentonview Nursing Home in Monett.
Lola was born Sept. 29, 1927 in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of Marcus L. and Jessie (Sherman) Rogers. She grew up in Nimmons, AR, where she met her future husband Frank Buel Clark Robertson, whom she married on Oct. 10, 1947. They lived in CA before settling in this area in 1977.
Lola and Frank co-owned and operated a service station in Rocky Comfort. Frank preceded her in death in February, 1998.
She is survived by five children, Marsha Plavajka and husband, Jerry of Highland, CA; Teresa Rank and husband, Darrell of Cassville; Coy Robertson and wife, Sherri of Newtonia; Vicki Hunsaker and husband, Tom of Pflugerville, TX and Roddy Robertson and wife, Mary of Salida, CA; one sister, Sharon Cronolatas and husband, Bill of Neosho; 11 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 11 am at the Newtonia IOOF Cemetery; J.R. Burr will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening at a time of visitation from 5 to 7 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Granby.
