Ernest E. Kimbrough, 87, entered into rest at his home in Diamond, MO on March 19, 2018.
Born Jan. 20, 1931 in Tipton Ford, MO to Earl Thurston and Georgia Ann (Newdigger) Kimbrough, Ernest was a lifelong area resident. He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict, 1952-1954. Ernest worked as a self-employed truck driver and was a member of the Diamond Chapter of the American Legion.
Ernest married Bonnie Ivie on March 20, 1965; she survives of the home. He is also survived by two children, Cherie Boman and husband, Galen and Bobby Body and husband, Jim; two grandchildren, Krystle Transeau and husband, Eric and Gram Boman and wife, Kimberly; and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, James Kimbrough and two sisters, Laura Rindt and Wilma Peters.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 2:00 Friday, March 23, 2018 at Diamond Cemetery, Diamond, MO. The family will receive friends between 6 - 7 Thursday evening, March 22, at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
