Mr. Charles D. Rea, age 95, of Oronogo, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018.
Mr. Rea was born May 30, 1922 in Webb City to Joseph Rea and Emily Knee Rea. Mr. Rea was a WW II Army Air Corp Pilot serving his county from 1942 – 1945. After the war he worked as a machinist.
His wife Delma Faye Rea whom he married September 17, 1945 in Columbus, Kansas preceded him in death January 30, 2015. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Pitts.Survivors include his daughter Linda Leaming and husband Henry of Jasper, Missouri; five Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM in the chapel of Simpson Funeral Home concluding with military honors. The family will have a visitation an hour prior to service from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM Saturday at the Simpson Funeral Home of Webb City. Burial will follow at Nashville Cemetery.
