Arthur M. Fuller, 91, Carthage, passed away Wednesday morning, April 19, 2017 at the Missouri Veteran’s Home in Mt. Vernon. Arthur Mason Fuller was born May 29, 1925 in Hammond, IN to Arthur M. Fuller and Marie Martha (Krone) Fuller. Arthur served in the Marine Corp during WWII. He married Dorothy Slowinski on August 23, 1947 in Chicago, IL; she preceded him in death on March 7, 2001. He worked as a distributor for Little Debbie. Arthur was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include two daughters Barbara Radebaugh (husband Jeff), Barrington, IL, and Diane Bougher (husband Roger), Carthage, MO; five grandchildren, John Lutz (wife Melissa), Scott Fournier (wife Kim), Andrew Bougher (Heather), Elizabeth Bougher, and Jenifer Martinsen (Tim); and six great grandchildren, Lillian Fournier, Royal Fournier, Karliah Bougher, Chelsea Martinsen, Mackenzie Martinsen, and David Wiesmore.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one brother, Robert “Bob” Fuller, and longtime companion, Dell Flanigan.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Grace Episcopal Chuch, with a visitation following. Fr. Steve Wilson will officiate. Inurnment will take place Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Carthage. Memorial gifts are suggested to Missouri Veteran’s Home, Mt.
