Larry Moser passed away early Friday, April 14, Good Friday, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin after several months of ill health.
Born on October 20, 1942 in Neosho, he was the son of the late George and June (Ely) Moser and was raised in the Saginaw and Redings Mill area.
Larry was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, following in the footsteps of his father and uncle, who were in the same branch of service. He received many commendation medals, serving in Saudi Arabia and was assigned to Air Force One in Washington, D.C. during the Nixon/Johnson era.
Larry married Carolyn Hartin on November 28, 1963. She survives at the home. They spent over 53 years together living in the 4-State area. They enjoyed going to rodeos, R'Ving and spent a lot of time in Texas attending Western Swing festivals and traditional country music shows.
He was involved in the trucking business most of his life as his passion was trucks since childhood. He had many friends, loved to visit and never met a stranger. Other survivors are his sister, Nelda Brown (Harry) and several nieces and nephews.
As per his wishes, no services are planned.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
