Charles Edward Biggerstaff, 73, Granby, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He was born May 17, 1943 in McLeansboro, Illinois, to Finnis and Dorothy (McKinnis) Biggerstaff. Charles moved to Granby in 1990 from Illinois. He served in the U.S. Air Force and Army Reserves and had worked in customer service for Wal-Mart. He was a member of Bible Holiness Assembly of God.
Charles married Martha (Ewing) on August 13, 1966 and she preceded him in death on April 7, 2012. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Biggerstaff of Neosho, MO; three children, Stephen Biggerstaff and wife, Tonya of Durant, OK, Elizabeth Godfrey and husband, Chris of Edmond, OK and Nathan Biggerstaff and wife, Sharilyn of Denver, PA; sister, Christena Frye of Biloxi, MS and seventeen grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Charles is preceded in death by his father and a daughter, Anita K. Biggerstaff.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Bible Holiness Assembly of God, with Rev. Daniel Taylor officiating. Burial in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto, Illinois, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home in Neosho.
