Teresa Abramovitz, 63, of Pierce City, Missouri went to be with the Lord in Heaven on Saturday April 1, 2017 at her home in Pierce City. She was born in El Paso, Texas on June 11, 1953; the daughter of the late Buddy and Patsy Jean (Adams) Barnes. She was united in marriage in Pulaskifield, Missouri on August 5, 1972 to Larry Abramovitz; he survives.
She was a retired Elementary Principal/Teacher teaching at Billings, Pierce City, East Newton and Wheaton Schools.
Teresa is survived by her husband Larry of the home; two sons: Benjamin Abramovitz of Pierce City and Brandon Abramovitz of Sublette, Kansas; three sisters: Vickie Larkin of Boulder City, Missouri; Denise Salzman of San Antonio, Texas, and Patrese Barnes of San Antonio, Texas, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Teresa was held on Tuesday April 4, 2017 at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri. Funeral services were held on Wednesday April 5, 2017 at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel in Monett with Rev. Doug Gripka officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
