John Robert Adams, age 64, Joplin, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 in Joplin.
John was born December 20, 1952 in New York and was the son of the late John Adams and Audrey C. McManners Adams.
He was a contractor and worked in construction most of his adult life. John was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Mary Karen Carter, Joplin; a son, Johnny Adams and three brothers, Gary Miranda and wife, Linda, Grants Pass, Oregon, Martin Miranda, Fairbanks, Alaska and William Miranda and wife, Patricia, Eagle River, Alaska.
A memorial visitation is planned for Tuesday from 6-7:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary. A private interment will take place in August at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
