Arletta Ruth Mansell, age 83, Springfield, Mo passed away Wednesday June 13, 2018 at the James River Nursing Home in Springfield, Mo. She was born on July 4, 1934 in Rayville Mo the daughter of Glen and Alberta Anson “Hatfield”. She married Glenn Miller he preceded he in death she then married Joe Mansell he also preceded her in death. Arletta was a member of the Eastern Star Stockton Chapter for over 30 years, a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Carthage and Webb City serving as deacon for both, and loved worked outside.
Arletta was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Gene and Arthur Anson. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Nysted and husband Harry, of Camdenton, Mo, and Diana Harriman and husband Shawn, of Springfield, Mo; eleven grandchildren, Stacy Gensler, Marie Nelson and husband Kevin, Claressia Lamkins and husband, Dwayna, Josie Gilmore, Carrie Husdson, Bridget Plunkett and husband Jeremy, Alex Reed, Andrew Reed, Joe Reed, Calvin Harriman, and Sierra Harriman; thirteen great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am Monday, June 18, 2018 at the Knell Mortuary. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm Monday, June 18, 2018 at the Waggoner Cemetery Stockton, Mo. The family suggests contributions to the First Presbyterian Church of Webb City’s senior meal program and may be left in care of the Knell Mortuary PO box 544 Carthage, MO 64836.
