Patricia Louise Tobey, age 85, Joplin, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Freeman West in Joplin.
Pat was born May 7, 1933 in Denver, Colorado, daughter of the late Willard Lee Sanson and Clara Louise Murray Sanson. She moved to Joplin 28 years ago, and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an accomplished seamstress and was known to fabricate outfits for the entire family. She also was very fond of a good hat and was known to own several over the years. She was of the Catholic faith since a child.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Antoine "Toby" Tobey, who died November 20, 1989.
Survivors include her son, Anthony Tobey of Joplin, daughter, Teresa Wickstrom of Carl Junction, Missouri; grandchildren, Anthony Tobey, Jr., Joshua Tobey, Kenny Wickstrom, Kayla Wickstrom, Blaine Tobey, and Teresa Tobey; brother, Fred Sanson, sisters, Isabel Mendoza and beloved husband Leroy, Linda Mae Duncan and husband Bill; 10 nieces and nephews.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
