John Lee Lansaw, age 87, Joplin, Missouri, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018 at his home.
He was born April 7, 1931 in Neosho to the late Roy Lee Lansaw and Thelma Turner Lansaw.
John married Opal Ruby Davis on October 1, 1950 in Eureka Springs, Ark. She preceded him in death on April 1, 2000.
He worked as a truck driver for many local businesses.
In addition to his parents, and wife Ruby, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Robert and Herbie Lansaw and a sister, Lyda Carrico.
Survivors include three daughters, Darlene Allen and husband, Stephen, and Debbie Wade and husband, Bruce both of Joplin, Dayna Gouge, Chilocothe, MO; one brother, Leroy Lansaw and wife, Lana, Joplin; one sister, Dorothy Jane Klug; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are planned for 2:00 p.m. Friday, at Parker Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
