Johnnie H. Wolf, Jr., age 61, Joplin, passed away at 10:20 p.m. Thursday, June 28, 2018 at his residence.
Johnnie was born June 27, 1957 in Denver, Colorado to the late Johnnie Wolf, Sr. and Wanda Lou Bell Wolf and had lived in Joplin most of his life.
Johnnie worked at Eagle Picher Industries as a test technician for thirty two years, retiring in February of 2018. He was a faithful member of Life Connections Church, where he served on the board, taught Sunday school and was children's church pastor. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Johnnie married Darlene Hensley on August 5, 1978 in Hennessey, Oklahoma. She survives at the home.
Additional survivors include two sons, Johnnie Wolf III and wife, Kirsten, Carl Junction, Jarrod Wolf and wife, Stacy, Joplin; one brother, Troy Wolf, Seligman; one sister, Starla Wolf, Sapulpa, Oklahoma; and grandchildren, Jayden, Khloe, Summer, Adalee and Madelynn.
In addition to his parents, Johnnie was preceded in death by a son, Walter; and a sister, Joy Wolf.
Services are planned for Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Life Connections Church. Pastors Joseph and Tim Wright will officiate. The family will receive friends following the services at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Life Connections Church, in care of Parker Mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
Life Connections Church, 5831 S. Main, can be found by going past the roundabout at Mercy Hospital and turning onto Hearnes Boulevard. It is located across the street from Peace Tabernacle on Hearnes Blvd.
