(From Parker Mortuary)Melida Raimundo Mauricio, age 62 of Webb City, Missouri, passed away at Freeman Hospital following an extended illness. Melida was born August 18, 1960 in Pohnpei, Federated State of Micronesia to the late Raimundo Pablo and Ihta Richardo Pablo. She was a homemaker, taking great care of her husband and family.
Melida married Anselmwo Maurico in 1979 and have celebrated 44 years of marriage together. To this union are four children, Anthony Maurico of Carthage, Denny Primo and wife, Sophia of Joplin; daughters, Hayvelynn Mauricio of Joplin, Ansleen Edward and husband, Richard of Neosho; grandchildren, A.J., Patton, Gracelee, K-Marlihta, Alkai, Ryan, Amaiah, Aikoa and Ikanai; brother, Kathlino Pablo and wife, Regina of PNI; sisters, Resita Apraham and Emrado Amusten of PNI.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
A family wake will be held at the home of Denny starting at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 6th with a graveside service to follow on Friday, April 7th at 12:30 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Joplin.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
