Cary Gibson

Cary Randall Gibson, age 60, of Monett, MO passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at the Circle of Life Hospice Home at Legacy Village in Bentonville, AR. He was born in Mesa, AZ on Monday, November 26, 1962; son of Gary and Kay (Blankenship) Gibson. He graduated from high school in Auburn, CA.

He worked in the parts office at Tysons for many years. Mr. Gibson enjoyed shooting guns competitively, liked being outside, and enjoyed traveling. He liked to work on cars and would drag race cars when younger. Mr. Gibson continued his love of drag racing as he got older by watching it. Most of all, Mr. Gibson loved his grandkids and daughters. He made sure they had what they needed. He loved his family!

Surviving are his two daughters, Julie (Joe) Powell of Hutto, TX and Becky (Robert) Parry of Shell Knob, MO; two grandchildren, Kaden Powell and Arianna Vore; his Dad, Gary Gibson of Wentworth, MO; a brother, Gary Gibson, Jr of Wentworth, MO; and many friends.

Mr. Gibson was preceded in death by his mother, Kay Gibson.

Mr. Gibson has been cremated at his request. No services are planned at this time. There will be a private family burial at a later date. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO.
