(From Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home)Catherine Louise (Chandler) Graham, 94, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.
Catherine was born on Thursday, September 13, 1928, in rural Jasper County, Missouri, to the union of the late Clarence and Ida Audrey (Hurt) Chandler. She was a graduate of Sarcoxie High School.
On September 14, 1946, she was united in marriage to Floyd Ray Graham in Columbus, Kansas. Together they shared seventy-four years of wonderful memories until his passing of January 15, 2021.
They moved to Lebanon, Oregon where jobs were more plentiful. In 1953 they moved back to Missouri, making Carthage, Missouri their home. For several years she worked as a secretary for the Carthage School system. Catherine was a member of the Church of God’s Grace in Sarcoxie, Missouri. She was a past member of the UMW Organization. She enjoyed singing with Sisters-In-Song and working the Methodist booth during Chief Sarcoxie Days. She will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd; two brothers; and five sisters.
Catherine is survived by her daughters, Patsy Johnson and fiancé, Terry Neer, of Indiana and Barbara Judge and husband, Doug, also of Indiana; two grandchildren, Mark Hutchins and Angela Huecker and husband, Eddie; three great-grandchildren, Taylor Hopkins and husband, Ryan, Alex Huecker and Christian Huecker; many nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Graham are 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 30. 2023 at the Church of God’s Grace with Pastor James Yost officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2023, at the Sarcoxie Cemetery.
Those honoring her life by servicing as pallbearers are Bill Chandler, Mike Chandler, Terry Neer, Ed Huecker, Mark Hutchins, Christian Huecker and Alex Huecker. Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Judge, John Chandler, Rick Lindsey, Lonnie Robertson, David Robertson, Carl Lee Robertson and Dale Robertson.
