(From Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home)Richard Wayne Ringgenberg, 86, of Everton passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023. He was born June 30, 1937, to Ennis and Grace Ringgenberg.
On February 22, 1963, Wayne and Betty Hall were united in marriage and shared over 57 years together before Betty’s passing in 2020.
Wayne was a lifelong area resident. After his time in the military Wayne and Betty opened Wayne’s Garage, later known as Wayne’s Automotive in Everton. He restored Model A and Model T and was a member of Heart of the Ozarks Chapter of the Model T Ford Club and Flatland Model T Club in Wichita, KS. When Wayne wasn’t in the shop working on cars, he was wood working or working on his farm. Wayne enjoyed his cattle, gardening, and especially enjoyed his roses and other flowers. He will greatly be missed by those that knew and loved him.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Ennis and Grace Ringgenberg; wife, Betty Ringgenberg; brothers, Ervin Ringgenberg and Don Ringgenberg.
Wayne is survived by several nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
Visitation will be 12:30PM- 2:30PM, Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Graveside services will be 3:00PM, Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Sinking Creek Cemetery, Everton, MO.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Sinking Creek Cemetery and can be left at the funeral home.
