(From Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home)David Duane Massey, 64, Joplin, MO passed away suddenly at his home July, 22, 2023.
David Duane Massey was born May 25, 1959 in Joplin, MO the son of Lawton and Mary Lou (Griffin) Massey. David had lived in the area most all his life. He graduated from Parkwood High School in Joplin.
David loved to hunt, fish and go camping. David formerly worked for Commercial Glass in Joplin and Miami Glass in Miami, OK, until retiring in 2018 due to health issues. He was of the Christian faith.
David was preceded in death by his father Lawton Massey in 1993 and one brother Kenneth Dale Massey in 2006.
David Duane Massey married Rebbeca Guinn June 12, 2004 in Eureka Springs, AR and she survives.
Additional survivors include his mother, Mary Lou Massey; children Skye Espino, Brianna Sugimura, Brittany Samay all of Hawaii and Marcus Guinn, Webb City, MO; Sisters, Judy Cook, Fairland, Marsha Oliver, Neosho, and Melissa Perry, Rogers; 19 grandchildren and a host of extended family.
The body has been taken for cremation.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm, July 27, 2023 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rod VanGorkam officiating.
