(From Parker Mortuary)Roy Ruthven Hanna, age 71, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 26th at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. He was born June 20th, 1952 in Nevada Missouri to Tom and Mickey {Perry} Hanna.
He is survived by his son Joseph Hanna and his wife Lenna of Joplin Missouri; Jeremy Hanna and his wife Caroline of Neosho Missouri; His daughter Crystal Schuster and her husband Chad of Denver Colorado. His two sisters Teri Hanna and Chris Hanna both of Lamar Missouri. His seven grandchildren Brittany, Shelby, Dakota, Spencer, Avery, Haidyn and Nolan. His four great grandchildren Micah, Isaac, Gunner and Fallon. Three brothers-in-law Mick, Jon and Kenny. His two beloved dogs Pancho {Fat Dog} and Wyatt.
Roy will be dearly missed by those who loved him on earth but will be reunited with his son Spencer, his parents, and three sisters in Heaven.
The Family would like to express their deep gratitude to the VA Team in Joplin, Freeman Hospital Medical/Oncology Staff, Dr. Nathan Miller, and the Palliative Team for the excellent care they provided to our father in his final days.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
