Shirley Kaufman

Mrs. Shirley Ann Kaufman, 89, of Anderson, Missouri departed this life on Tuesday morning, January 23, 2024, at McDonald County Living Center in Anderson, Missouri. 

Shirley entered this life on July 26, 1934 in Kiowa, Kansas, born to the late Lonnie and Leona C. (Ray) LeMasters. She was raised in Anderson, Missouri and was a 1952 graduate of Anderson High School. 

On April 10, 1954, in Pineville, Missouri she was united in marriage to the late Jack V. Kaufman, and to this union two sons and one daughter were born. They were married for 58 years, until Jack’s passing. Shirley was a homemaker and was able to help care not only her children but many of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Jack V. Kaufman; parents, Lonnie and Leona (Ray) LeMasters; brothers, Lonnie LeMasters Jr and Eugene LeMasters; sisters, Nadine Sherman, Carolyn Houpt, Waneta Dickson, and Irene Wilson; and a great-granddaughter Soraya.

 

Shirley is survived by a son Mark Kaufman and wife Lori of Anderson, Missouri; a son Timothy Kaufman and wife Lisa of Clay Center, Kansas; and a daughter Mary Allgood of Neosho, Missouri. Also by grandchildren Kindell and Johnnie Blevins, Stacy and Chris Lilly all of Anderson, Missouri; Jeremy Allgood of Bella Vista, Arkansas; Jennifer and Philip Ciampa, Lacy and Mike Abell, Amanda Houchin, and Michael Houchin all of Kansas. As well as great-grandchildren Tucker, Kelsie, Brooklyn, Emily, Jeremiah, Gracelyn, Ezra, Lily, Isaiah, TJ, Monica, Ryland, Emma, Isabelle, and Allison.
