(From Parker Mortuary)Ruth Adelaide Gindling, aged 86, passed away on January 13, 2024, in Joplin, Missouri. She was born on August 18, 1937, in Buffalo, New York to the late Joseph and Berta Delpriore. Ruth was a beacon of kindness and dedication, leaving a legacy of warmth and generosity.
In Ruth's early years, she worked as a secretary in the United States Navy. After her service, she embraced the role of a homemaker with grace and vigor, creating a nurturing home for her family. Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Larry B. Gindling, and together they shared a life full of love.
Ruth's spirit of giving extended beyond her home into the community. She was a cherished volunteer at Mercy Hospital, where her presence brought comfort and joy to many. She found solace in the tranquility of fishing, the satisfaction of tending to her garden, and the simple pleasure of watching birds glide across the sky.
An animal lover at heart, Ruth's compassion knew no bounds, and her culinary skills were a source of delight for friends and family alike.
She leaves behind her loving children, Gwen Hartsfield, Shiela Yingst, and Larry Gindling, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at 1201 in Joplin, Missouri.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
